About JobsiteCalc

JobsiteCalc publishes free calculators for home and DIY projects, such as concrete, brick, area, tile, flooring, drywall, paint, wallpaper, gravel, mulch, topsoil, sod, lumber, fences, decks, roofing, stairs and voltage drop, plus an EV and energy section. Each page shows the formula, the assumptions behind it and the sources used, and the underlying math is covered by automated tests. The site was previously called PlugMath.

Limits

Results are estimates for planning and buying materials. Real quantities depend on site conditions, product and workmanship. JobsiteCalc does not give structural, building-code, legal, financial or electrical-installation advice: check local codes and product instructions, and use a licensed professional where required.

The site is free to use and may later display advertising or affiliate links, which would be clearly labeled.
